Dr. Sheila Furey, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, brings a medical, neurologic, psychological and wholistic approach to every student. She has 30 years of experience working with children and adults with cognitive challenges and other neurologic diseases. She combines this with the over 25 years of experience of her co-teacher, Rita Kamler-Hester. Together, this team works to understand the needs of younger children as well as the adolescent, college student and adult. We team with students and families to provide support and understanding as the students build their brains, self-confidence and success.
