First research study validating Arrowsmith outcomes presented at the 108th American Psychological Association Convention in Washington D.C.

Arrowsmith School moved into its current location at 245 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto

Dr. Norman Doidge writes an article She Changes Lives in the National Post and an article in Saturday Night Magazine, Building a Better Brain.  

2005

Opening of sister school – Arrowsmith School, Peterborough, Canada

2005

Jill Marcinkowski, Principal of Arrowsmith School Peterborough.

The Arrowsmith Program first became available in the United States at an independent school.

2006

Tara Anchel is appointed Principal of Arrowsmith School Toronto allowing Barbara Arrowsmith-Young to continue to develop the program and foster its implementation around the world.

2006

As the number of students at Arrowsmith School Toronto increased, the school classrooms expanded into the building next door at 243 St. Clair Avenue West.

2007

The Brain That Changes Itself by Norman Doidge raises awareness of the Arrowsmith Program around the world, Chapter 2,  Building Herself a Better Brain is on the work of the Arrowsmith Program.

2008

The first web-based delivery system of the Arrowsmith Program assessment, WebAssess is developed.
